Easter

You're sure to find some great Easter books in our library this month!

Learn about the history and meaning behind some of the Easter traditions like painting eggs, hot cross buns, and Easter lilies.

Each illustrated page of this book has an Easter prayer/poem and some scripture.

Easter Fires is a neat book about a Native American tribe who learn about Jesus and start the tradition of burning fires on the hilltops on Easter to celebrate the Gospel story.

The Tale of Three Trees is a traditional folktale about the wishes and dreams of three trees.  When they are finally cut down, they are turned not into the grand objects they had wanted to be, but something far greater- objects reflecting God's glory and great love.

Passover

Christian scholars believe that Jesus' last supper was a Passover meal.  Learn about this meaningful Jewish holiday and how Christ became our Passover Lamb.

A new spot to sit!

Check out a cozy addition to our library- a sweet rocking chair, just the right size for little ones!

Lent

While the season of Lent is upon us, why not spend these next weeks reading the Passion story.

Sunday School Spotlight: Zacchaeus

In our Sunday School Spotlight is the story of Zacchaeus.

Spring?

March is the month for St. Patrick's Day, and we have a few appropriate books ("Wee Gillis" is a Scottish tale, but lots of fun to read.)
